Death was due to a heart attack with which he was seized Thursday forenoon just after he had prepared to make a trip downtown. Up to that time he had experienced good health for a person of his age....Mr. Renn, the son of Jeremiah and Harriet (Conrad) Renn, was born June 25, 1856 in Snyder county, Pennsylvania. His marriage to Amelia Catherine Ulrich took place at Mottville, Mich., Nov 30, 1879. She died May 12, 1934. Surviving are the following children: Miss Maude Renn, at the parental home, Mrs. W. M. (Stella) Struble of 723 Middlebury street, Mrs. W. F. (Hattie) Aurenz of 1028 South Main street and John F. Renn of Dunlap. A son, Ernest Renn, lost his life in an automobile collision, Sept. 20, 1933. There are nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. On first coming to Elkhart Mr. Renn was employed at the coal dock of the Lake Shore railroad, then served as locomotive fireman, winning promotion to.....
