Elkhart Truth 14 Apr 1939
Mrs. Mary H. Stauffer, 86, died today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Reuben 
S. Martin, 911 South Main street.  Her husband, Jacob G. Stauffer, with whom 
she came to a farm near Goshen from Ohio 39 years ago, died Feb. 2, 1933.  
Surviving beside Mrs. Martin are a son, Ezra Stauffer,west of Goshen: nine 
grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two brothers, John Hackman of 
Orrville, O. and Henry Hackman of Burton City.  The funeral will be held 
Sunday, with a service at the Ezra Stauffer home at 2 p.m. and another at 2:30 
at the Yellow Creek Mennonite church.
