Goshen News, 3 Feb 1909
 Lavina, wife of Mora Stotts, died at her home, a mile and a half nothwest of 
Goshen, Monday, February 1, at the age of 38 years.  She leaves to mourn her 
departure her husband and one son, Ray, her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. 
Tobias Cripe of this city, six brothers, Simon, Jacob, Samuel, and Jesse Cripe 
of Chicago, Elijah and Henry Cripe of Goshen, four sisters, Mrs. John Cripe of 
Nappanee, Mrs. John Peterson, Mrs. Chance Alwine, and Mrs. George Weaver of 
Goshen.  Three infant children and one sister, Mrs. Logan Mays 

Additional Comments:
Last line should be Mrs. Logan Mays preceded her in death...but that was left 
out.
