Elkhart Truth, 10 Mar 1922
Solomon Stump of Nappanee, aged 75, died at 9:30 this morning of infirmities 
of age and complications.  He had been in failing health for five years and a 
week ago became suddenly worse remaining unconscious to the end.  Mr. Stump, 
who was born in Union township, resided in Nappanee 39 years.  He had been 
employed in the Brown and Ullery Implement Store and in a Nappanee ??.  
Surviving him are his wife, a son Frank Stump of Pasedena, Calif. and two 
daughters, Mrs. Mary Vak**** of Nappanee and Mrs. Jessie Stump who lives near 
Nappanee.  The funeral arrangements will not be made until word is received 
from the son.
