Stump, 80, who died Tuesday at his home southwest of Bremen. The services will be conducted by the Rev. Charles Cripe in the Bremen Church of the Brethren. Burial will be in the Bremen cemetery. Mr. Stump had been ill for a week with pneumonia. The son of Joseph and Katherine Stump, he was born on March 13, 1854, in Union township. His marriage to Judith Troup took place in 1873. They lived west of New Paris until 25 years ago, when they moved to the farm southwest of Bremen. The following relatives survive: Mrs. Stump; three sons, Melvin who with his wife lives at the home of his parents, Lawrence of Fort Wayne and Clarence of Tyner; five daughters, Mrs. Curtis Price, Mrs. Ben Wagley, Mrs. Peter Frenger and Mrs. Earl Bellman, of near Bremen, and Mrs. Josiah Neff of New Paris; 41 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren, and two great-great- grandchildren.
