Walters of Nappanee. She was born June 19, 1859, in Wisconsin, the daughter of Jacob and Susanna Burkholder. Jacob S. Walters became her husband on Aug. 30, 1879. Mr. Walters died several years ago. Surviving are the following children: Arthur M., William J, Chester A., Warren G Walters, all of here, Charles Raymond Walters of Mount Clemens, Mich. Mrs. Edward Stump of Nappanee, Mrs. George Grise of Chicago and Mrs. Arthur Schoenfelt of South Bend. The body may be seen at the home until the funeral at 2 p.m. Friday, in charge of the Rev. R. J. Burns of the Methodist church. Burial will be in the Union Center cemetery. She was a member of the Methodist church.
