She was seventy -nine years old and was born in Clarke county where she spent her entire life. She leaves two sons, William and James McClain , of this city, and one daughter, Mrs Mary Eichhorn, of Philadelphia. She was a memeber of the G.A.R., her husband had been a veteran of the Mexican and Civil Wars.The remains were taken to the residence of William Arnold 34 East 5th St, and the burial will take place tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock from St. Mary's Catholic Church. Additional Comments: Her husband was Colonel James B McClane who died in 1881 in Indiana.
