New Albany Tribune 1 JUN 1936 p1 c5 Illness fatal to  V.F.W Chairman Mrs. Jessie Sevedge, President of District Auxiliary, Passes Away After several Weeks; Illness— was Member of Local Unit.    Mrs. Jessie  Sevedge, 42, president of the Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars in the New Albany District and one of the leading members of the unit of Hobart Beach Post, this city, died early Sunday morning in her home on Charlestown avenue.  She had been ill seven weeks from a complication of diseases.    Mrs. Sevedge was a prominent Figure in the Indiana V. F. W. Auxiliary circles.   She had been a member of the local organization for a number of years and always took an active interest in its affairs as well as in those of the district body.    Surviving are her husband, Chester Sevedge Sr.; three sons, Chester Sevedge Jr. of the U. S. S. Oklahoma, and Wayne Sevedge and Wallace Sevedge; four daughters, Misses Kathlyn, Wanda, Marjorie and Barbara Sevedge; her mother, Mrs. Emma Mosier, Byrneville, Ind. And sic sisters, Mrs. Betty Wheeler London, England; Mrs. Frank Ames, Palmyra; Mrs. Leonard Harrison and Mrs. Henry Tretter, both of Byrneville; Mrs. Charles Cochran, Charlestown, Ind. And Mrs.  Chas.
