W. Beckwith (1881) William A. McClure, farmer, Newtown, was born in Richland township, June 13, 1845, and is the youngest son of James McClure. He was married to Myra Thompson May 14, 1874. She was born March 5, 1853. Both are members of the Presbyterian church at Newtown. They have two children: Thomas T., born June 2, 1875, and James I., May 29, 1878. Mr. McClure owns 152 acres of land, twenty being timber. He is a republican in politics.
