Beckwith (1881) John Reynolds, merchant, Snoddy's Mills, is a native of England, born in 1849, and came to America in 1867, where he has been engaged in mining in Missouri, Kentucky, Illinois and Indiana, until he began his present occupation. He has given close attention to business, and has given general satisfaction to his many customers. In 1872 he married Miss Catharine McVey, a native of Pennsylvania, and by this marriage they have one child living, Annie, and three dead: Daniel, John D. and Patrick.
