Be it Remembered, That on this day 14th
day of October, 1857, the following Marriage Licence was issued to wit:

INDIANA , TO - WIT: FRANKLIN COUNTY:
      TO ANY PERSON EMPOWERED BY LAW TO SOLEMIZE MARRIAGES:

You are hereby authorized to join together as husband and wife, Thomas M Butler 
and Francis Ann Webb, and for so doing, this shall be your sufficient authority.

                     In Testimony Whereof, I, John M. Johnston, Clerk of the 
                       Franklin Circuit Court, hereunto subscribe my name, and
                       affix the Seal of said Court, this 14th day of October,
                       1857

  Be it further Remebered, That on this 19th day of October, 1857, the 
following certificate was filed in my office, to wit:
INDIANA, TO WIT: FRANKLIN COUNTY:

  This certifies that I joined in marriage as husband and wife, Thomas M. 
Butler and Francis Ann Webb on the 15th day of October 1857
