ROCHESTER.
The capital of Fulton county, twenty miles from Plymouth, on the Pittsburg, Fort
Wayne & Chicago railroad. It is located in a fine agricultural country, which
affords it it a good support. It has three good churches, one graded school,
three mills, and a good representation of the different trades and professions;
also two newspapers. The place has a good deal of enterprise and thrift about
it, but is sadly in need of railroad communication with the markets. 
Population about 2,000.
