Fire Shots in Bride's Home
Columbus, Ind - May 29, 1912

An attempt is believed to have been made to assassinate Mrs. Bessie Trees, who was 
divorced from her husband, Jacob F. Trees, while she was being married to John 
Hand. Shots were fired into her home and they were returned at two fleeing men by 
the bridegroom and others present at the wedding.
