Clark Betty Lou CLARK, 38, of Effort, Pa., a former Rochester High School teacher and girls basketball coach, died at 11:15 p.m. Saturday at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, New Brunswick, N.J. Her death was due to injuries sustained in a traffic accident Friday Night in New Jersey. She was born Oct. 29, 1952 in Princeton to Elmon and Virginia DYRE CLARK. She was in her third year as head coach of the girl’s basketball team at East Stroudsburg (Pa.) University. She received her bachelor’s degree from Indiana State University and her master’s degree from Indiana University. She went from Rochester High School to Manchester High School, then to East Stroudsburg. Surviving are her mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. Robert FIELDS, Orleans, Ind.; a brother, Richard CLARK, Melburne, Fla.; a sister, Earlean SWINEHEART, Brazil, and a niece. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ocha-Tetrick Funeral Home, 187 E. Jefferson, Orleans. Burial wil be in Fairview Cemetery, Orleans. Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday. Memorials may be made to the East Stroudsburg University scholarship fund.
