John V. Gross

                John V. GROSS, 54, Rt. 5, Rochester, (Talma) died at 9 p.m. 
Tuesday while driving his vehicle near Columbus, Ohio.

                He was born Jan. 2, 1937 in Warsaw to Rollin and Pauline 
MILLER GROSS.  He moved from Bourbon to Rochester 36 years ago.  On March 5, 
1957 in Rochester he married June E. MAY, who survives.  He was a truck driver 
of ESI Meats out of Bristol for five years.  He was a member of the Warsaw 
Wesleyan Church.

                Surviving with his wife are three daughters, Mrs. Michael 
(Diana L.) SOPHER, Roann; Mrs. Daniel (Christie K.) SWEENY, Silver Lake, and 
Mrs. Steve (Shelly A.) THOMAS, Atwood; a son, David L. GROSS, Rochester; five 
grandchildren; his mother, Pauline GROSS, Warsaw; two sisters, Mrs. Ronald 
(Susan) BRUCE, Warsaw, and Donna SKINNER, Marion.  Preceding in death were his 
father; a sister, Marilyn SMITH, and a grandson, Ryan SOPHER.

                Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Foster & Good Funeral 
Home, Rochester, with Pastor Paul JAMES officiating.  Burial will be in the 
Sycamore Cemetery
