Ruth E. Herron

                Ruth Eileen HERRON, 59, Logansport, died at 6:40 a.m. Thursday 
at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Indianapolis.

                She was born Feb. 11, 1931 in Fulton County to Claude Mathews 
and Flossie Ann CLEMENTS REASON.  On Feb. 27, 1954 in Logansport she married 
John R. “Jack” HERRON, who died July 2, 1900.  She was a secretary for the 
Logansport School Corporation, a 1949 graduate of Grass Creek High School and 
a member of All Saints Catholic Church, Logansport.

                Surviving are four sons, John R. [HERRON], Jr., Logansport; 
Daniel T. [HERRON], Elkhart, and Robert M. and James M. [HERRON], both of 
Indianapolis; four daughters, Julia L. TAM, Rochester; Joan C. BECK, Walton, 
and Dianne E. WILSON and Barbara J. HERRON, both of Indianapolis; twelve 
grandchildren; four sisters, Leona GREGORY, Hartville, Ohio; Fern SMITH and 
Jean LONG, both of Logansport, and Ann CHAPMAN, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; two 
brothers, Roger [REASON], Logansport, and Carl “Bud” [REASON], Kewanna, and 
nieces and nephews.  Preceding in death were two brothers and a sister.

                Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at All Saints Catholic 
Church with the Rev. David NEWTON officiating.  Burial will be in Mount 
Calvary Cemetery, Logansport.  Friends may call at Kroeger Funeral Home, 711 
E. Market St., Logansport, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, where there will 
be scripture service at 4 p.m. Sunday.  Memorials may be made to St. Vincent’s 
hospice program, 8401 Harcourt Road, Indianapolis, 46260.
