Anna K. Michel

                Anna K. MICHEL, 88, of 1729 S. Josephine St., Martinsville, 
died at 1 p.m. Monday at Morgan County Hospital.  She had been ill for several 
months.

                She was born Feb. 16, 1902 in Kuhstedt, Germany, to Dietrich 
and Anna FLATHMANN MULLER.  She moved from Germany to the United States in 
1925.  She moved from Indianapolis to Martinsville four years ago.  On April 
17, 1929 she married Ernst MICHEL, who survives.  She was the owner/operator 
of Sponsel Bakery in Indianapolis from 1952-1962.  She was a member of the 
Evangelical Church of Christ.

                Surviving with her husband are two daughters, Doris NERDING, 
Martinsville, and Joan GRAHAM, Rochester; six grandchildren and two great-
grandchildren. Preceding in death were two rothers and two sisters.

                Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hillsdale 
Cemetery, Martinsville.  Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. tonight at Neal & 
Summers Mortuary, 110 E. Poston Road, Martinsville.
