Carol E. Pine

                Carol E. PINE, 69, of 2600 W. Jefferson St., Kokomo, formerly 
of Lake Bruce, died at 5:05 p.m. Sunday at St. Joseph Hospital and Health 
Center, Kokomo.

                She was born July 9, 1921 in Deer Creek to Verne A. and Ruth 
DAVIS MOORE.  On July 8, 1939 in Tipton she married Russell L. PINE, who died 
Feb. 25, 1982.  She retired in 1972 from Accurate Parts, Kokomo, and had also 
worked for Stellite.  She attended Trinity Wesleyan Church, Kokomo.

                Surviving are four sons, David A. [PINE], Walton; Joseph K. 
and Russell D. [PINE], both of Kokomo, and Dan [PINE], Kewanna; three 
daughters, Ruthann HAWKINS and Phyllis C. LINDLEY, both of Kokomo, and Joyce 
HOFMAN, Cleveland, Ohio; sixteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three 
step-grandcvhildren; three step-great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Wilma 
BACH, Chicago, and Virginia VOGUE, Kokomo. Preceding in death were two 
brothers and three grandchildren.

                Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Eller Mortuary, 725 
S. Main St., Kokomo, with the Rev. Roger A. PARSONS officiating.  Burial will 
be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Kokomo.  Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday.
