Ranz Albert J. RANZ, 83, Rt. 4, Rochester (Indiana 14 West), died at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Woodlawn Hospital. He was born Dec. 8, 1907 in Danforth, Ill., to John and Edith WALES RANZ. He moved to this area from Illinois 71 years ago. On Oct. 17, 1929 at Plymouth he married Dollie M. LEEDS, who survives. He was formerly employed by Fansler Lumber Company and was retired from Pike Lumber Company, Akron. He was a member of the Rochester First Christian Church, the Fulton County Conservation Club, and was a director of the Prill School Museum Association. Surviving with his wife are two daughters, Mrs. Wilbur (Joretta) WHEADON, Rochester, and Cheryl LEEDS, Bourbon, Mo.; a grandson, Ronald WHEADON, Rochester, and four great-grandchildren. Preceding in death was a sister, Elza CONDIT. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Rochester Citizens Cemetery with the Rev. Cliff WILKINS officiating. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and from noon to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Zimmerman Brothers Funeral Home, Rochester. Memorials may be made to the Prill School Museum Association.
