Saturday, May 8, 1880


A sad accident happened four miles northwest of here last Saturday morning. It 
appears that a young man, sixteen years old, SKELTON by name, whose parents 
live near Logansport, was hauling manure, and from some cause the team became 
frightened and started to run, the wagon passing over his breast, killing him 
in a few minutes. He was taken to Logansport for interment. (Kewanna item)
