Row 2 Additional Comments: Monday, October 17, 1949 Max D. Kuhn Funeral services for Max D. KUHN, 50, who committed suicide Saturday at his father's farm near Akron, were scheduled at 1:30 p.m. today in the Akron Methodist church. The Rev. R. A. FENSTERMACHER officiated and burial was made in the Akron cemetery. Kuhn was found about noon on Saturday by his wife who went looking for him when he was late returning to his farm, a short distance from his father's farm. Reason for the suicide was attributed to despondency over all health by Dr. Dean STINSON, county coroner. Born in the Akron community Jan. 25, 1890, he was the son of Henry Alvin and Ida KUHN. On March 26, 1920, he was married in Detroit to Etta VICKERY. He was a member of the Akron Methodist church and has been active in AAA affairs in Fulton County. Survivors include the wife; the father, Henry A. KUHN; a son, Neil [KUHN], Akron; a daughter, Mrs. Norma Jean BURNS, Akron; two brothers, Cecil [KUHN], South Bend and Arthur H. [KUHN], Akron; a sister, Mrs. Ethel McHATTAN, Winchester; four grandchildren. His mother was killed in an automobile accident two years ago.
