Russell V. Miller
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Gilead United Methodist church for 
Russell V. MILLER, 48, Gilead, who died Tuesday in the Wabash county hospital 
of a heart attack. The Revs. Ron ZIMMERMAN and Robert JARBOE will officiate. 
Burial will be in the Akron cemetery. Friends may call at the Sheetz funeral 
home in Akron after 2 p.m. Thursday until 11 a.m. on Friday and at the church 
one hour prior to services.
Mr. Miller was bor June 13, 1927 in Miami county to Aud and Maude RUNKLE 
MILLER. His marriage was May 11, 1946 in Gilead to Colleen BAHNEY. She 
survives. He had lived his lifetime in the Gilead community and was trustee of 
Perry township 10 years. He was a salesman for Industrial Casualty Insurance 
company. He was a member of the Gilead United Methodist church, Loyal Order of 
Moose at Peru and the Gilead Masonic lodge.
Surviving are one son, Gary "Storm" MILLER, at home; three sisters, Mrs. Mabel 
ROBERTSON, R.R. 1, Roann; Mrs. Warren (Helen) MYERS, Denver, and Mrs. Eugene 
(Hazel) LANE, North Manchester; two brothers, Wayne [MILLER], R.R. 1, Macy, 
and Frank [MILLER], Akron. One son and one brother preceded in death.
