Row 4 Additional Comments: Monday, January 13, 2003 Mary E. Luckenbill Jan. 15, 1911 – Jan. 12, 2003 Mary E. LUCKENBILL, 91, 1241 S. County Road 875 East, Akron, died at 7:10 a.m. Sunday at Hickory Creek of Rochester. Born in Akron to Jesse and Susan Lavina LANDIS ROYER, she married Kenneth H. LUCKENBILL Oct. 23, 1931, in Denver. He died Jan. 19, 1974. Mrs. Luckenbill was a homemaker and retired Hart Schaffner & Marx worker. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Fulton County Republican Women’s Club and the Moose Lodge Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors include three daughters, Nancy LUCKENBILL and Shirley ADAMSON and husband Richard, all of Akron, Judy GRINDLE and husband Bruce, Syracuse; five grandchildren, Kathryn PRATER and husband Norman, Akron, Patrick LUCKENBILL of Kentucky, Michael LUCKENBILL and wife Karen, Royal Center, Daniel GRINDLE and wife Sherri, Goshen, and Jeffery GRINDLE, Fort Wayne; five great-grandchildren; Eric, Gregory and Austin PRATER, Michael LUCKENBILL Jr. and Sarah Anne GRINDLE. Preceding in death with her husband were her parents, one son, Gary [LUCENBILL], Sept. 9, 1995, and two brothers, James and Frank ROYER. Services are at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron, with Rev. Carl SATRE officiating. Burial will be at Akron Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
