Wheeler was born 18 November 1842. He married Mary F. Stallings 28 September 1865. Children were: Ramson Grant Wheeler, James M. Wheeler, Mary Wheeler, Rosetta Wheeler, and Evaline Wheeler. Jasper married second, Mrs. Laura White, after the death of Mary Stallings 23 April 1901. Jasper died 6 December 1919, in Keensburg, Edwards County, Illinois. Obituary of Jasper N. Wheeler: Death of Jasper N. Wheeler The following notice of the death of Jasper Wheeler, a former Princeton resident was received by the Democrat from C. W. Strickland of Keensburg, Ill. "As one who wraps the drapery of his couch about him and lies down to pleasant dreams" so ended the life of Mr. Jasper N. Wheeler of Keensburg, Ill. at 9 o'clock Saturday night December 6th. Mr. Wheeler was born in Gibson County, Indiana Nov. 18th 1842 and resided there until 1901. On September 28, 1865 he was married to Miss Mary F. Stallings of Gibson County and to this union five children were born. Ramson Wheeler of Sommerville, Indiana James M. Wheeler, Keensburg, Ill., Evaline Singer, Keensburg, Ill., Mary and Rosetta preceded him in death, also his wife Mary F. He was again married to Mrs. Laura White of Keensbury, Ill. in 1902.
