Samuel T. Wheeler Ft. Branch Funeral Director
Is Dead

    Samuel T. Wheeler, 82, for many
years a funeral director in Ft. Branch, died
yesterday at the Methodist hospital in
Indianapolis. The body will be returned to his
Ft. Branch residence tonight where friends
may call. Funeral services will be held at the
General Baptist church in Ft. Branch Monday
at 2 p.m.


    Surviving are three daughters, Mrs.
Flora Karnes, Mrs. Tropha Coon, and Miss
Bertha Wheeler and two granddaughters, all
of Indianapolis. Mr. Wheeler located in Ft.
Branch in 1909, moving there from Lynnville.
He and his son, the late Henry Wheeler, who
passed away last April established the
Wheeler & Son funeral home.
