Dropped Dead Word was received in this city Tuesday night by Thomas K. Parker, that Jacob Cochran, a resident of Grant county, had dropped dead. The deceased was a resident of this county for twenty-five years prior to his removal to Grant county, and was quite well known to the older residents of this county. He was over seventy years of age. The funeral services will be held at the Greenwood church, on the Etna road, Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock, interment taking place in the church cemetery. Mr. Cochran is a brother-in-law of Mr. Isaac Parker who lives near Clark’s mill, and was an uncle of Miss Della Barker, of Pomeroy and Blackburn’s millinery store.
