Sunday. Mr. Whitted with his wife and sons had been visiting at the Julian home for a week. Mr. Whitted was injured recently when he poured kerosene on a fire causing an explosion. He was knocked down and rendered unconscious, but it is thought now that he inhaled the flames. He was a packer in a glass factory at Winchester. He is survived by his wife, three sons, father and mother, of Lawrence county; five brothers and three sisters. The funeral was held Tuesday at Knox chapel, near Fairmount, Rev. S. S. Bosure in charge. Burial at Knox cemetery.
