Grant Co. Marriage Book C, p. 314
Wm. H. Reeder to Mary Elizabeth Said

Be it Remembered that on the 26th day of October A.D. 1850 the following 
license were issued to wit: State of Indiana Grant County, SS.  To all who 
shall see these presents  greeting.  Know all ye that any person legally 
authorized to solemnize marriage in Grant County is hereby licensed to join in 
marriage as husband and wife William H. Reeder and Mary E. Said and for so 
doing, this shall be his sufficient authority.  Witness my hand and the seal 
of the Grant Circuit Court this 29th day of October A.D. 1850.  Signed J. W. 
Brown, Clerk

And on Nov 18th 1850, the following return was made, State of Indiana, Grant 
County, SS.  This is to certify that William H. Reeder and Mary E. said were 
joined together as husband and wife on the 27th day of Oct 1850 by me.
