An enterprising and prosperous village in Hamilton county, on the Indianapolis,
Peru & Chicago railroad, six miles from Noblesville, the county seat, and
twenty-eight from Indianapolis, It was laid out as early as 1818, and in the
last few years has been improving quite rapidly. The different branches of
trades and professions are well represented here. Population about 500.
