West Grove Cemetery is located in Jackson Township, 

Hamilton County, Indiana, about ¼ mile west of the 

intersection of 226th Street and Anthony Road (County Road 

#E33) on the south side of 226th Street.  The cemetery is 

approximately 200 yards south of the road but is easily 

accessible by a gravel drive back to the burial area.  The 

Jackson Township map of 1880 shows this to also be the site 

of the West Grove Friends Church and of Public School #20 

as well as the cemetery.  The church and school buildings 

are no longer there but the cemetery is still in active use 

for burials and is kept neat and well maintained.
