State of Indiana - Hendricks County. Personally appeared before me Amas S. Wills/Wiles, a Justice of the peace in and for said county, Samuel White who deposeth and says that he served a tour in the War of 1812 from Ross county, State of Ohio, was called out in the general call made July 1815.  Served in the company commanded by Capt. William Kilgore in Col., McDonnalds Regiment No., no recolected, and was in the service about forty days at the end of which time received a discharge signed by said captain which was sent with the papers herefore made out and sent to the pension office, on which I obtained a warrant for forty acres, which warrant has been laid No. not recolected, all of which will now fully appear by reference to the records of the pension office.
