LEWISVILLE.

A village of 800 inhabitants, in Henry county, on the Columbus, Chicago and
Indiana Central railroad, forty-two miles from Indianapolis and twenty-six from
Richmond. It has several religious societies, but only one church. It has a fine
two-story brick seminary, a flouring mill, a number of stores, shops, &c. A fine
Hotel has been erected here and will be in operation in the fall of 1868.
