SPICELAND.

A village of about 150 inhabitants, in Henry county, near the Columbus, Chicago
& Indiana Central railroad. It has two steam saw mills and several other
manufacturing establishments.— The country around is fertile and settled mostly
by intelligent and thrifty Quakers.
