Henry County Indiana The Daily Times, New Castle Thursday January 11, 1912 Hamilton Z. Beck Died at an Early Hour Today Deceased had been afflicted for the past 7 years-was helpless for last 3 years Hamilton Z. Beck, aged 66 years, died at his home on East Broad Street at 5:40 o'clock this morning, after a lingering illness lasting 7 years or more. When first attacked with disease his trouble was of the nature of locomotor ataxia and this grew worse until in the last 3 years he has been absolutely helpless, not being able to even dress himself. The deceased leaves a wife and 2 sons, Willard Beck and Ray Beck. The latter is a resident of New Castle and the former lives in Indianapolis where he is the agent for the Smith Primmer Typewriter Co. The funeral will be held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock, Rev. L.C. Howe, of Noblesville, officiating.
