The Daily Courier, Monday, 6 Jan 1913
Muncie, Jan 6 - The funeral of Miss Elizabeth Porter, aged 78, a former 
wellknown resident of this place and Newcastle, who died at the home of her 
aunt, Mrs. William Emmons, in Union City, Friday morning, was held here Sunday 
morning at 11 o'clock.  Interment took place at the Beech Grove cemetery.
