John A. CUTHRELL was reared in Howard Co. 
He was married in 1863 to Anna QUICK. 
They had the following children: Alwilda (Mrs. E.W. Borings, Joseph F., 
John W., Jesse D., Anna (Mrs. Simons)  Mrs. Anna (Quick) Cuthrell died in 
Feb 20, 1878. Mr. John A. Cuthrell then married Mary J. NOCKS on June 24, 
1878. Their children were: Sarah E., Anna (Mrs.Hosier,Mary J.
(Mrs.Cuthrell), John, William, Harvey,Clora, Leora. John's parents were
Joseph B. CUTHRELL and Anna BINGAMMAN

Joseph B. CUTHRELL, a native of North Carolina became an orphan when young.
He married Anna BINGAMMAN in 1839 in Rush County, IN. In 1848 he came to 
Howard Co.  He died April 5, 1876 in accident by a falling tree. 
Joseph B. Cuthrell and Anna Bingamman's children were: John A., Mary 
M.(Mrs. D. Carr),Elizabeth H. (Mrs. J. Peterson), 
Sarah J.(Mrs.J.W.Mauler),and Joseph F.

Henry LOOP born New York. 
Married Elizabeth MARSH in Cincinnati Ohio. 
About 1853 moved to Indiana settling 3 miles east of Kokomo. 
Children were: James, Michael, Mahala, Stephen, Joseph M. and Carrie Maria.

Joseph Marsh LOOP born Oct 26, 1818 near Batavia, Clermont county, Ohio 
He married Margaret LINK on March 3, 1840 in Preble Co., Ohio. 
Margaret Link was born March 19, 1819. 
Joseph and Margaret lived 1 1/2 miles north of Greentown. 
Their children were: Henry, James, Nicholas, Margaret, Elijah, Noah, Anna,
Frank, and Mahala. Joseph's parents were Henry and Elizabeth (Marsh) Loop.

Married Permelia Margaret GARR, Jefferson Co., KY 
Died: 20 Dec 1898, Howard Co., IN 
Children: William Wesley, Edwin, Nancy Elon, Newton Broadus, James Polk,
George Washington, Emma D., and Fielding Henry. 
Other Info: Son of Fielding and Rhoda (Carpenter) Smith, he was a farmer 
and at one time owned 600 acres in Clay Twp., Howard Co. He was one of the 
early settlers of Howard County (1853).
