John Beard, the father, follows Ferd
Beard, the Son, to the Tomb.

John Beard, aged 64 years, living in the last house north on Main street,
died at 11:30 o'clock Sunday night of pneumonia. The death followed that
of his son, Ferd Beard, within a week, both being victims of the same trouble.
The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Moore
undertaking parlors, where the body was taken. Burial will be in the
Puckett cemetery
