Kokomo Tribune, Saturday, December 18, 1920
Mrs. Nancy Brenton died at the Good Samaritan hospital Friday morning
of injuries she received from an automobile driven by Nelson Hollingsworth.
Mrs. Brenton has made her home here with her son-in-law, Joe Cox until about 
four weeks ago, when she went to Kokomo and was employed  at the National 
restaurant. Mrs. Brenton had many friends here who were grieved to hear of her 
death.  She was a woman that carried many sunny smile and everyone she met a 
cheery word to everyone she met.  She has two granddaughters of this place, 
Dorothy and Rosie Cox, and one daughter, Mrs. May Cox, and four children of. 
Logansport, one step-daughter, Mrs. Bear of Kokomo. who are left to mourn her 
loss.  The funeral services were held Monday afternoon with burial at the 
Randolph Cemetery
