CHARLES HUGHES DIES
Paralysis Is Fatal to Local Resident
Four Children Survive.
Charles Hughes, 67 years of age, passed away Saturday night at 9:30 o'clock, 
at the home of his daughter. 2437 North Main street, of paralysis. His illness 
covered a period of three years.
The funeral will be held at the Union Street Friends church Tuesday
afternoon at 2 o'clock and burial will be to Randolph cemetery.
Mrs. Hughes preceded the deceased to the grave thirty-one years ago.
Four children survive the deceased: Mrs. John Clevenger; Mrs. Denton 
Stratford, Mrs. Madeline Hughes and William Hughes, all of this city
