Leisure fatally wounded himself while his family was away from home and left a note indicating that despondency over ill health was the reason. He was found on the floor where he had arranged a blanket and pillows. Two shots from a 22 rifle had been fired. One grazed his head and the other shot entered his temple. Members of the family returned home shortly before 9 o'clock and found him. First aid was called and he was removed to the hospital, where he died about an hour later. The deceased was born October 6, 1891, in Adams county, the son of Samuel and Julia Leisure, but had lived in this city for a number of years. A former employee of the Kingston corporation, his last employment was with the Libby, Mc-Neill & Libby company. He had been ill and unable to work for several months. He was in military service in World War I, but was discharged after 26 days.
