During that time he has been unable to discharge his duties in the pulpit. He has had no charge but was making his home in Greentown when the final summons came. He had held a ministerial license in his church longer than any other pastor of his faith. The funeral services are to be held Sunday morning at 10:30 o'clock at the Newlight church in Greentown. The Rev. Omer McCoy of Greentown1 will have charge of the services and the burial will be in the Randolph cemetery. The Rev. Randolph was a native of the county and was born February 11, 1866, and had resided in various parts of the county. He was a son of Elder J. Randolph, and was converted at the age of 18 years, beginning as a speaker in public a year later. He had devoted the energies of a life time to the Christian cause and his church. Finally hardening of the arteries, acute Indigestion and dropsy wrought the end. His death came suddenly as his condition did not become serious until 9 o'clock Friday morning. Besides the widow, Mrs. Ida Belle Randolph, there survive two sons Emmer Randolph, 621 East Wheeler street, Kokomo, and Jesse Randolph, who lives at home, and Mrs. Pauline Hollingsworth, 1411 South Courtland avenue; one brother. Alert of Tetersburg; a half sister, Mrs. Mae Scott of Edinburg; and stepmother, Mrs. Betty Randolph of Edinburg, Seven grandchildren also are living.
