Kokomo Tribune, TUESDAY, DECEMBER 30, 1924
The funeral of John Tartar, who died at the home of his daughter in
Racine, Wisconsin, Mrs. Omer Stillwell with whom he Was spending
the winter, was held at the Courtland Avenue Friends church this
afternoon at 2 o'clock, the body haying arrived here in care of
Fague and Fenn. He had been a resident of Kokomo the past ten
years.  The funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Orin L. Hutchins,
and the burial followed in Randolph cemetery.  He is survived by the widow, 
four daughters, one son and eight grandchildren. His daughters are Mrs. Forest 
Dutton of Cincinnati, O., Mrs. Mary Benett, Mrs. Omer Stillwell, of Racine, 
Wis.. -Miss Julia Tartar, and Frank Tartar, of Indianapolis, Ind.
