"Mrs. Clinton Divilbiss Dead.
Huntington, Ind., June 2 - Mrs. Clinton Divilbiss, aged 63 years, died at her
home, on Salaminie Avenue, on Sunday morning [1 Jun], after an illness of
several weeks of complications. Mrs. Divilbiss was born near Markle to John and
Rebecca Sparks, and was married to Clinton Divilbiss in 1873. Surviving besides
the husband are four children, Charles and Harry of near Markle; Frank, of this
city; and Miss Clara, who lives at home; and her mother, Mrs. Rebecca Sparks.
Her father died only two years ago. Other relatives are twelve grandchildren, a
brother, R. A. Sparks, of Highlands, Ind; and tow sisters, Mrs. William Schory,
of Fort Wayne, and Mrs. Russell Herran, of Wells county."
