Mrs. Hagee was born on May 6, 1826, in Lancaster county, Pa. Besides Mrs. Pastor she leaves another daughter, Mrs. Lydia Thompson, of Alabama, and two brothers, George Hagee and Samuel Mussleman [sic] both living at Peru. Mrs. Hagee fell last summer and broke her hip and has been declining since the injury. She has lived with her daughter, Mrs. Adam Pastor, on Frederick street for the last 26 years. Short funeral services will be held at the home on Frederick street at 9 o'clock Sunday morning, the Rev. F. H. Diehm officiating. The body will then be taken to the interurban station and shipped to Peru over the traction line at 10 o'clock. Surviving are George of Daphna, Ala., Mrs. Emma Pastor of Huntington. The Hagees had a bakery for 30 years at the corner of Miami and Second St. in Peru."
