Obituary for Anna Weddel Bickley

Born 12 September 1867 – Date of Death 26 June 1915.

 

                        Anna Bickley was born in Clearspring, Ind., September 
12, 1867, and departed this life June 26, 1915, aged 47 years, 7 months and 14 
days. She was married to Thomas Hardy and to this union was born five children 
one preceding her to the grave. Those living are Homer, Inca, Otis and Enoch. 
She was again married to Jacob Bickley, December 2, 1987, and to them were 
born three children, Dewey, Eunice and Dora. She also leaves three brothers 
and a host of friends to mourn their loss.

            She confessed her faith in Christ eleven years ago under the 
preaching of Rev. J. M. Homs from which time she has lived a devoted Christian 
and to know her was to love her. She expressed several times that she was 
ready to go when the call came. She talked of her Christ and a week ago called 
for songs of praises to be sung.

            We desire to extend our thanks to our friends and neighbors for 
the kindness shown us during the sickness and after the death of our wife and 
sister, Mrs. Anna Bickley.
