He was married to Louisa McCory March 7, 1876, who survives him. To this union were born six children, namely, Mrs. Icy Bickley, who preceded him to the grave in 1911; Ida, dying in infancy; Mrs. Lura Wayt of Morgantown; James, of Seymour; Cyrus and Fred at home. He also leaves one brother, Marion Cordill, of Indianapolis, eight grandchildren, seven great- grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his departure.
