Cummings - Maumee, Salt Creek Twp news – John W. Cummings, a highly respected citizen, died at his home near this place Wednesday night, March 2, 1922, aged 73 years, 3 months and 8 days. He is survived by one son, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He also leaves three brothers, Thomas, of Houston; and Joe and George, of Bedford, and two sisters, Mrs. Ellen Miller, of Brownstown, and Mrs. Frank Schwein of Sylvia, Kan. The remains were brought here and laid to rest in the Robertson cemetery Friday.
