W. Goble and wife. He was as well as usual on Wednesday but on Thursday morning he complained of feeling sick but was not considered serious until noon when three of our doctors were called who did all in their power to save his life but without success. The supposed cause of his death was congestion of the brain. The deceased was born November 2, 1883, making his age 20 years, 3 months and 16 days. He was a member of the M. E. church, uniting with it when 14 years of age, under the labors of Rev. Hall. He was an industrious boy, obedient son and a kind and affectionate brother. Besides the parents he leaves one brother, three sisters and grandparents to mourn his departure. The grief stricken parents have the sympathy of the community in their hour of sorrow. The funeral services were conducted at the M. E. church Saturday morning at 11 o’clock after which the remains were laid to rest in the Houston cemetery.
