The Franklin Democrat, Friday, March 2, 1900, Volume XL, Number 34, page 1, column 1
John T. Nay, a brakeman on local freight No. 75, on the Jeff road, fell from the top
of a car Tuesday morning 
at Seymour while switching, and was killed.  Three cars passed over the middle of
his body.  His home was in 
Jeffersonville.

Note:  The Indiana WPA Death Index, 1882-1920, referencing Book CH-1, page 76,
records that John Nay, a 
30 year old white male, died 27 Feb 1900 in Seymour, Indiana.
