Mrs. Pferrer was formerly Miss Emma Niemeyer, daughter of Joseph Niemeyer and wife of Seymour, where she was employed as an operator in the Telephone Exchange and had a host of friends in that city. She was united in marriage to August Pferrer October 12, 1902, and to their union were born one son, who with the husband, father, mother, one brother and one sister are left to mourn the death of a devoted wife and daughter. The remains were taken to Seymour this morning where the funeral services will be conducted at the German St. Paul church, of which she was a member, at 2 o’clock p. m. Thursday. The grief stricken husband and relatives have the sympathy of all in their bereavement. Wheeler – Died, of lagrippe, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Thomas C. Findley, Sunday, January 27, Mrs. Dorcas M. Wheeler, nee Waggoner, widow of the late David G. Wheeler. Dorcas M. Waggoner was born in Kentucky, August 10, 1820, and came to Jackson county, Indiana, with her parents when a small child. She was married to David G. Wheeler August 4, 1842. To them were born ten children six of whom survive her, viz., George W., of Seymour; John W. and James I., of Freetown; Jacob B., Hulda E. Wheeler Findley and Orrill R. Wheeler, of Cortland. Mrs. Wheeler united with the Christian church early in life and has always lived the life of a devoted christian woman. The remains were taken to Freetown on the S. I. Monday accompanied by a number of relatives and friends.
